It’s very unlikely that you’re a fan of extremely heavy music, and I know that people aren’t supposed to put this kind of thing on their portfolio site, but hear me out: This is still a visually stunning piece of After Effects work. It uses null objects, transparencies, adjustment layers, 3D rendering, lighting effects, and more. All the graphic elements were created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop in addition to After Effects. When you watch it, take notice on how I used the music to change the visuals. During the chorus, take a look at what’s going on in the background.
